The Ohio Cultural Facilities Commission is a state agency that oversees capital improvement funds appropriated by the General Assembly and Governor for planning, construction, renovation and expansion projects at Ohio’s theatres, museums, arts education facilities, historical sites and publicly-owned professional sports venues. From 1988 through 2006, nearly $485 million has been appropriated for nearly 300 projects in 65 of Ohio's 88 counties.
